BIBLE EVENT THANK YOU Those who came to this event last Saturday were very impressed and moved to see the bibles and material on display. Huge thanks to anyone who helped, contributed or visited the event. It was worthwhile and couldn’t have happened without you.

ANNIVERSARY OF THE ABORTION ACT – 27 October. Over 10.5 million abortions have taken place in Great Britain since the Abortion Act was passed in 1967. On this anniversary, please pray, fast, and attend Mass for an end to abortion. Say an extra Rosary and consider giving up some food that day.

Advent Prayer Group As a legacy of the Jubilee Year, a new parish prayer group will meet initially during Advent on Tuesdays at 11:00am in the Iona Chapel (Nov 25, Dec 2, 9, 16 & 23). Sessions will last around 30 mins, focusing on the upcoming Sunday’s Gospel with time for personal reflection and shared discussion on the words relevance to our daily lives.
