SUGGESTION BOXES – Thank you to everyone who has used the suggestion boxes. A dozen suggestions were received, and all have been considered by Fr William and the co-chairs of the Pastoral Council. Although it has not been possible to respond to every suggestion, all have been carefully noted, and a number will now be acted upon. In particular, suggestions relating to additional daily Masses, Masses for special intentions (including for bereaved parents), and the introduction of a parish course are now being planned. One suggestion, simply headed ‘Preparation for after Holy Communion’, was not entirely clear. If the person who submitted it would be willing to write again with a little more detail, we would be very grateful.
Please do continue to use the suggestion boxes. They provide an easy and valued way of sharing ideas that can help to strengthen and enrich our parish community. Ann McCarthy and Pauline Rourke: Co-chairs, Pastoral Council
