One of the outcomes of our parish consultation on the Synod two years ago, was the development of the Welcome to our Parish group. This group has now widened its brief to become the Communications Group. With the approval of Fr William and the Pastoral Council, we now have a wider remit and will be reporting to the Pastoral Council on progress.

We still have work to do and some aims may be more long term. In the spirit of good communications, you are most welcome to send any thoughts you may have for the group’s consideration. Please send in an envelope to the Parish offices for the attention of the Communications Group or to the parish offices’ email addresses on the website. Thank you

Lyn Coyle, Chair

If you are NEW TO THE PARISH, you are asked to complete a Parish Registration Form and send to either parish office to let us know that you are here and enable us to welcome you to the parish. The form can be completed and submitted online or downloaded and printed out. Instructions are on the form, which can also be found in the front porches of both churches. You will find it on the Our Parish tab, under Welcome (side option Welcome). Thank you.

With the approval of Fr William and the Pastoral Council, we now have a wider remit and will be reporting to the Pastoral Council on progress. So far:

-We have devised a method for following up the arrival of new parishioners.

-We have replaced the notice boards in the porch at St Columba’s so that they will be more attractive and informative, with a new space for work from the Children’s Liturgy Group and the Youth Group.

-We are currently improving the website which will more consistently celebrate parish events and which will be easier to view and to find the information you need.
